It is fast and FREE! Copy comment URL. Report comment. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. While it has an impressive cast, the story of a woman that rents billboards to call attention to the yet unsolved rape and murder of her daughter seemed pretty cut and dry.

First off, the acting is spot on, which is no surprise considering Frances McDormand is the star. It keeps you watching for the characters alone.

The movie has so many twists you don't want to look away. Violent at times and touching in others, it's a good story. This was one of the best films of last year.
